How can I ship my item?
Gather all the pieces of your item. Put very small pieces into a plastic bag. Pieces larger than 2" should be wrapped individually in at least 2 layers of large-bubble bubble wrap. The items should be wrapped snugly, but not tight, as unnecessary damage could occur from too much tension in the wrapping. Use a minimal amount of tape to secure the wrap. Overuse of tape can also lead to additional damage. After wrapping your item in bubble wrap, fit it snugly into a box. Tape the box shut. Fill a second, larger box with about 3-4" of packing peanuts, center the box with the item inside, then fill the rest of the larger box with peanuts. Put your name, address, phone number, email and the number of pieces enclosed inside the box.
Make sure to INSURE YOUR PACKAGE.
It is also helpful to get either a tracking number or delivery confirmation on your shipment. I would recommend both of these if you are shipping by US Postal Service.
If you are uncomfortable packing the item yourself, take it, along with these instructions, to a reputable shipper.
Remember, it is better to over-pack than under-pack.
